Blood test is one way to test for food allergies. However it isn’t the only one.

Previously, after I have done my blood test to figure out what potentially are my allergens, I have done some research to compare different testing methods.

In the past, when blood test technique wasn’t that mature, often doctors suggested skin prick test (SPT) or oral food challenges (OFC) to identify allergens, especially for people with eczema or sensitive skin.

However, these two methods come with risk. They both test directly on your body, which can trigger allergic reactions straight away and make you very uncomfortable.

Hence, nowadays when the technology is far more advanced, doctors usually suggest testing method that is far more pleasant and safer - blood test.

My doctor suggested me to do a allergen blood test to figure out what I am allergic to. Sharing my experience over here ✌🏻 Hope the experience clears some clouds of all our fellow friends with eczema.

1. Any large hospital has the capacity to perform the test, just request from your dermatologist or doctors.
2. The test just requires a small syringe of blood. If your kid is averse of drawing blood, this should be very manageable.
3. The test that I have done costs me RM900 including doctor consultation.
4. The test screens many different substances in our environment and daily food intake, including dust mites, pet, inserts, nuts & grains, proteins, seafood etc.

✨Before & After Comparison after One Week✨ Received this fabulous comparison from one of our customers. She purchased Mint Free Gentle Mugwort Balm for her son who has eczema at his feet and ankle area.

Apply meticulously at least twice per day after cleansing. You will see the fragile skin moisturised + less flaky + active wounds start to heal + less itch right after.
